Well you came off as a bit of a ****** with your posts so I guess you're both evenĪs for steam support Ive always presumed its a bit of a pita for developers to add steam support for modding so maybe thats why they have never added 'official' mod support and just kept things more informal through their own website, also worth noting they are far more active on their own forum than here. NexusMods has a few I think that aren't represented on the official forum but the forum is the primary hub for all such activity and a good portion of the top modders are found there. The 'Modding Projects' forum section linked above contains most known mods for GD. There is plenty of mods out there (and have been since the tools were released in 2016). So far they have given no indication of intent to add workshop support for whatever reason. I never implied they didnt encourage modding, i pointed out the fact that there is not much mod support here at the steam section, where the game is for the average user.
